The hair community is abuzz over Solange’s new haircut. I’m shocked and initially hoped she was wearing a wig (The thought of chopping all that big, beautiful hair is too much for little heart).
Solange has always been a beautiful woman and when she transitioned to natural hair and decided to exclusively wear her natural hair, she was heralded as an inspiration to both naturals and relaxed hair women alike. There are lots of chemical-free celebrities who choose to wear extensions for work-related or time-saving reasons. But Solange was initially one of the few to rock her natural hair all the time.
The new hair cut probably has to grow on me because I’m so used to seeing her with her big curls. But, if she likes it, then I love it for her!
