Yesterday my sister sent me pictures of her using Curlformers. My response was “Who are you and what have you done with my sister?” I honestly thought it was an instance of body snatching. If you’ve seen my recent video about her hair and regimen, you’ll understand my shock. She barely combs her hair into any style beyond a ponytail or wash-and-go. Alas, it was actually her. She felt inspired to try something new. So I was excited to see her results!
I couldn’t resist pointing out that she looks 11 years old with the Shirley Temple curls. Wouldn’t you agree?
She used knock off Curlformers and coconut oil on wet hair to style. Then she let it air dry. After her hair dried, she finger combed to style. This was her first time setting her natural hair so I think with practice she’ll get better. The issue now is finding products that will keep the curls from looking frizzy.
