This is a Holiday Hairstyle for Kids with the 4C hair texture… Their tresses are just as beautiful as any other textures. However this style can be done on any hair texture.
Tools:
You will need a styling product, hairpins, brush, comb Denman brush, and satin scarf (Optional: Gel, for hold) Please don’t use this Blue magic stuff like it did…It doesn’t moisturize and is extremely greasy.
Steps:
Start with freshly washed or cowashed hair if you plan to leave in the style for at least one week. Make sure the hair is thoroughly detangled to avoid breaking the hair when you braid it. Part hair into two sections from ear to ear
Secure the top/front part of the hair and begin working with the other section. Divide that section into two parts… You can divide the hair into two equal parts straight down the middle of the head but I choose to part the hair diagonally. Braid both sides using the underhand/ French braiding technique
Pull both of the braid and the remaining hair from the top into a high ponytail using her scunci.
Divide ponytail into 3 sections and fold each side as if you were creating a pin curl… Take the remaining hair from the middle and cover the top of the hair to cover up the scunci.
Tie the hair down to help tame any fly always…
