Hair Maintenance On A Budget

Around the web we have access to some great reviews on some amazing hair products for $20 $30 and beyond. But lets be honest, we can’t all afford those products and for some even 7 and 8 dollars can seem a bit much when your budget is limited.

Being on a hair journey does not mean you have to break the bank trying  to get the most expensive products on the market.  The secret to achieving healthy hair is based more on technique that product.

There is still hope for those of us that choose to keep our hair budget to a minimum.

There’s a few type of products I need to maintain my hair healthy,  Water, oil, conditioner, cleanser, and deep conditioners I have managed to find a hair regimen that includes all of these products while only spending Approximately $10.00 monthly.

Here’s how I do it:

OILS

I keep my oils rather basic… Olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil.

Castor oil– You can find   at Wal-Mart  2.64.

Coconut  Oil – for $5.98 at Wal-Mart.  The oil has been solidified but rubbing it in your hands will cause your body temperature to melt it.  Plus there is always the option of making your own which is also cheaper.

Olive oil – Again, at Wal-Mart for about $4.00

I don’t use all of these oils at once and most are products I have accumulated over time.

CONDITIONERS

Tresemme Luxurious moisture- Moisture Rich and Tresemme Flawless Curls- Curl Hydration moisturizers are used as both my leave in, and moisturizers… I swear by this stuff you’ll…

Both of these products can be found at the Drug stores and walmart  for about  a few cents to about $2.00

DEEP CONDITIOENRS

I use Avocados mixed in with olive oil as my deep conditioners… This makes for a very moisturizing conditioner with out the expensive sticker price.   Avocados  $.45-2 (depending on the season)
