Let me begin by saying that I love this product!
It makes an awesome protective style and is especially great for those days when you are in a rush but still want to look great. It is generally also really easy to use and I found the best way to do it neatly is to simply tuck my own hair under with a few pins then put the ANW on. I however, did find it challenging to use when my own hair was very poofy (mainly after leaving t it to air dry completely) because it was difficult to get everything under the cap neatly. It may just take a little more figuring out for people with very long or thick hair but still doable. I also really appreciated the comfort of the ANW. It can be tied loosely without slipping off which is really important to me because I get headaches from anything wrapped too tightly around my head. I was worried that the smooth satiny material would require making it tight but don’t let that fool you because it actually did not slip off once. There is a velcro lining inside which can poke you a little at points but some simple twisting around and the product is comfortable enough to forget it is even there.
Caring for the ANW is also really easy because the tie head and the hair are attached with the velcro lining, which makes it easy to wash them separately. I wear dark foundation which I thought might stain the tie head but the material came clean with a simple hand wash, despite the color. The quality of the weave attachment is also great and a lot of people thought it was actually my real hair. In fact, when my own hair was straightened I easily blended it into the weave attachment and could not differentiate between the two. The high quality also meant that the hair came out just like new after washing it. It did seem to tangle a little easily but even when wet it also detangles easily, so that was not too big a deal. I think the length at a little past my bra strap is great and the thickness is also just right.
Again overall this is a great product and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for cute and simple protective styles.
