Where the hell are my leave-ins going?!?! As mentioned in my first post, Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship Split End Protector was my staple leave in. Later when they changed the packaging and name to Touchably Smooth Split End Protector, I stayed with the product. For two reasons: 1) the formula change had no effect on how the product reacted to my hair 2) I’m a creature of habit and I hate having to change because of something outside of my control. (SN: It took FOREVER for me to switch from Internet Explorer to Firefox. I was the object of much ridicule from my high school classmates…. Those jerks.)
Sometime last year, after returning from a semester abroad, I couldn’t find the SEP on the shelves of my local CVS or Walmart. But I didn’t trip. I had 3 bottles of the stuff lying around the house, so I was like, “Bump this. I guess the distributors are trippin.” Then, at the beginning of this year, all hell broke loose. My stash was gone. My life was like Armageddon. Basically, I was panicking. What in the world am I gonna do now?!
My only logical step was to research and Google like my life depended on it. After some hunting, I found that many people who used the same product also like Aussie Hair Insurance Split End Protector. I gave it a try and I liked it enough to keep it, but I was still salty because I loved my old product. (I told y’all I don’t like change.) Whatever, my hair likes it, so it can stay. Until… I could no longer find that in the store either.
There must be some type of sick and twisted game that someone is playing on me and my emotions. I can’t deal. Who did I tick off? Am I in a Saw movie and Jigsaw is screwing with me? No sir, I did not sign up for this game; I’m exiting stage left. I’m done and y’all can miss me with that bull.
As you can tell, I was more than frustrated. It takes so long to get a regimen and find products that agree with your hair that when something deviates from the plan, it’s like someone is purposefully trying to get on my good nerve (and I only have one of those.)

I’m still testing them out so I will leave the reviews for another post.
