Alright my darlings, let’s get started with the Change Your Hair challenge. Phase 1 will include 4 simple steps:
1. Drink more water. The rule is to drink half your body weight in ounces. So if you weight 100lbs, that would be 50oz of water per day.
2. Take a multivitamin daily. You can take a hair vitamin if you prefer but be mindful that the increased biotin may cause breakouts.
3. Deep condition weekly. If you’re wearing a sew-in or braids, you can still condition your hair (although you may not be able to use heat since the heat might mess up with tracks or braids). Watch my video here on how I wash my hair with my sew-in.
4. Moisturize at least every 2 days. No excuses.
And that’s it! I’m keeping phase 1 simple and we will build up on during the next phase of the challenge. Phase 1 will end on March 31. As will all of my hair challenges, please take a before picture.
