Me and hubby riding on the beach at Kiawah Island last weekend |
You can read Part 1 here and Part 2 here.
- I don’t eat ice cream in the winter. My husband thinks its strange but if its cold outside I’m not eating ice cream.
- I’ve been using eye cream since I turned 18. I’m not taking any chances, even if “Black doesn’t crack.”
- One of my most embarrassing moments was being ill-equipped for my cycle during the 9th grade. A boy had to tell me and thankfully he was gracious about it. I’m sure it has happened to most of us, so you know the feeling of horror.
- I have an ugly cry. I may have mentioned this before but I’m not kidding. It looks like my face is melting when I cry.
- Plants come to my house to die. It’s shameful, I know. But I can’t keep house plants alive. I’m the same way with fish. Since they can’t tell me they’re hungry/thirsty I forget to feed them. I plan to do better in my 30s.
- I hate to cook, but I love to eat. Cooking is a means to an end for me. I can cook and I do cook, but I don’t relish in the process. This is one reason why I love visiting my family in Florida and Jamaica. I have a couple aunts who LOVE to cook. Since I love to eat, its a winning combination.
- I’m a stickler for proper etiquette. Emily Post’s Etiquette book is on one of my coffee tables right now.
- I love learning about history. My favorite historical genre is royal families. I’m fascinated by the coup d’état plots, the extramarital affairs, and the strange habits that humanize the royalty.
- My husband and I honeymooned in Turkey. He shares me love for history and Turkey is teeming with historical events.
- I love sour candy. Some people have a sweet tooth, well I have a sour tooth. I still eat more than my fair share of sour candy. My favorite is sour belts (sold at candy stores only).
