You can read Part 1 here.
- I’m a procrastinator. I try to convince myself that I work best under pressure (which is true), but the fact is it’s usually self-induced pressure.
- My favorite color is green. I used to resist the fact that green was my favorite color because I always felt pressured to like pink. My birthstone is emerald and I remember not liking any emerald jewelry my parents gave me growing up. But now I’ve embraced it.
- I love eggs. I eat 3 eggs every day; I remove 2 yolks to reduce the cholesterol. What’s crazy is that I was allergic to eggs as a child. But I loved eggs so much that I forced my body to accept it. Mind over matter.
- My other pet-peeve is when people don’t say “Please” and “Thank you.” I mean really, it cost you nothing to be polite.
- I end every call with my family by saying “I love you.” I started doing that when I left home for college. You never know when the last time you speak to someone, is the last time.
- I’m a Twi-hard. I read the first Twilight book on the plane en route to my honeymoon and I was hooked. It was the first non-legal book I read after law school and it reminded me that recreational reading was enthralling. When we returned from our honeymoon, I read the other 3 books in 3 consecutive days. I just skipped sleep.
- Naturally, after #6 the next question would be Team Edward or Team Jacob? I’m Team Edward!
- My favorite Disney movie is Sleeping Beauty. The artwork in that movie was spectacular. It’s also why my favorite composer is Tchaikovsky. My second favorite is Cinderella. I love movies with a little magic and a fairy god mother (or three).
- I’m a little OCD about hand-washing. My mom is a nurse and I have 2 dogs. Enough said.
- My favorite fashion decade is the 1950s. Women wearing hats, pearls, full A-line dresses and gloves on a daily basis? Sign me up!
