At the Bobcats game |
On Monday, hubby and I attended the first Bobcats game of the season. We went horseback riding a few hours before the game, so I had about one hour to get ready (i.e. shower and style my hair). If you are short on time or only have a few steam rollers, here is a great way to get fabulous results with only six steam rollers.
First, start by combing your hair straight up. Normally, I would comb my hair down and then install the steam rollers. The goal of combing the hair up is two fold: 1) the hair at crown will have more curls on top and 2) the hair at the bottom will only have curls on the ends.
Roll the hair on the steam roller starting from the ends. Just like you would install a regular plastic roller.
To avoid visible parts at your roots, freestyle the parts instead of using a comb to make precise partings.
After I showered and got dressed, I removed the steam rollers. In my rush to install the rollers, the back part came out a little bent. This can be easily avoided if you take the take your time and/or use end papers.
Lastly, I just finger combed and shook out the curls. I will definitely try this technique again but will take care not to crease the ends.
