Here’s the recap with tons of pictures on how I styled my hair with faux bangs this Thanksgiving. (Excuse my blank stare in the “After” picture LOL I was getting tired of taking pictures and ready to go eat…that’s my “I’m hungry” face).

The first step is deciding where I want the bangs to start. I make a part that is slightly angled to match the shape of the faux bangs for a more natural blended look.

Next, I clipped on the bangs and gently finger comb to blend with my real hair.

The bangs were not blending as well as I wanted. Mostly because they were straightened and the bantu knots left my real hair wavy. So I decided to add waves to the back half of the bangs and slightly curl the front half. I curled the faux bangs while they were installed in my hair to ensure optimal results. I didn’t bring my hair tools, so I borrowed my aunt’s conical curling iron.

At the end of the night, I removed the bangs without any damage to my real hair. The bangs were lots of fun to wear, but I was very happy that I could just unclip them and go back to my normal length.
