Today is my birthday and I had a wonderful birthday weekend. It started on Saturday when my husband surprised me by having my sister, MsNastassja, fly in from med school to spend the weekend with me. I was so shocked, I started screaming and backed up to the wall. LOL. Then I started crying hysterically because I was so happy to see her. They had a whole weekend of events planned and I enjoyed every minute of it.

My birthdays bring on strong memories of my childhood parties. My family always makes the birthday boy or girl feel like the most special person in the world. For every birthday, my parents, aunts and uncles would send gift baskets and balloons to my school. Then we had a big party for all the May babies, including my aunt, and my cousin.
